Welcome to Deviantart! I havent logged on in a month, so I just got your message(s). Thats a really clever idea using the Kinect though, how has that worked for Max?
It works best with a program called Motionbuilder. After you get everything setup how you like, and you're happy with your motion capture, you can import your rigged models from 3DS Max into Motionbuilder and apply some advanced techniques, and then you simply export it back to Max with your new fancy motion capture animation. It's really awesome.
